A photograph taken from HMS Rushen Castle of sister ships HMS Knaresborough Castle (nearest) and HMS Leeds Castle off the North Wales coast.

Noted 10 November 2007:  I have subsequently come across this photograph in an album belonging to Lt Robert McMullan, RNVR.  This casts some doubt on the copyright notice above.  In addition, Lt McMullan describes this photograph as showing the above mentioned ships as line abreast with HMS Rushen Castle "inside Skokholm" - this would place these ships off Pembrokeshire, close to Milford Haven.

For subsequent reference/checking of the date, Lt McMullan states that Knaresborough Castle's CO is Foreman, and Leeds Castle's CO is Reynolds.
