HMS Rushen Castle oiling at sea using the canvas hose method.
On the back of this photograph Lt McMullan has written "1 for Reg, No 1, Weeks, Chief" - presumably those who asked for copies.
I appreciate the photograph is somewhat murky, but does some knowledgeable soul out there recognise the oiler?
