Enjoyed the WX ship experience. I was a R/Op May- Dec 1968. Not all of us were ex RN. I was from the MN. I was on the WX Monitor and the WX Reporter/Recorder cant remember. I do remember getting the recommend for staying on station during the heavy weather. The chattiest pilots belonged to the US Transport Command. They would send a postcard home for you. My wife often wondered were I was when she received cards from places like Hawaii. I left for the RFA and other things.
